Drone Soft Washing for Roofs & Houses

What soft washing is

The crew applies a cleaning solution at low pressure, lets it sit long enough to work on algae, mildew, or grime, then rinses. A drone does this from the air on a tether, so the crew doesn't need ladders on tall walls or steep roofs.

Roofs, siding, and stucco

• Roofs: HomeAdvisor notes clay tile can't take pressure washing and wood roofs need low pressure.
• Siding and stucco: ask the crew how they avoid forcing water behind siding or into cracks.
• Second stories and gables: where a drone saves the most ladder work.

Plants, runoff, and chemicals

Ask what solution the crew uses, how they pre-wet and rinse plants, and where runoff goes. Local rules on wash water vary by city.

Drone cleaning operators need FAA authorization; chemical spraying may fall under Part 137. Ask your operator for their certifications.

Cost

Drone soft washing varies by roof size, pitch, access, and surface, so get quotes. For general context, HomeAdvisor's 2026 guide lists roof cleaning at a normal range of $296 to $626, and pressure washing other exterior surfaces at $220 to $450 as an add-on.

House washing on Soar-n-Wash

We are adding house washing (exterior soft wash) as a service in every city hub. We only list real operators, so some city pages show no house-washing crews yet. Until then, roof cleaning and building washing crews in your city may also soft-wash homes; ask them.
